Happy Birthday to me!

I have been wanting to take a calligraphy class (modern calligraphy) for quite a while, especially Michele Fritz's.  The price is hefty, $250, but it includes supplies and her time to teach a small group of eight. I gave myself a birthday present and bought the class, hoping it was well worth the $250.

It was worth every single penny.  She was patient, she was thorough, she went to each student to helped with the hand positioning, guiding to the right way of writing, easy to understanding, and she was patient.  I was sad that the three hours were up, but I left a happy camper!  I follow her on Instagram and her work is fabulous!  

Just bring some light snacks for the class, even though she may provide a few.  Wear black, to prevent any ink splatter (I found it funny most of the people wore black shirt also!).
