About the Class:
As featured in Southern Living magazine, spend the afternoon playing with pens and ink! Teaching for the first time outside of the Washington, D.C. area, Michele will be spending two days offering workshops at the incomparable paper shop dreamland that is Greer Chicago. She will show you how to use traditional materials (pointed pen calligraphy nibs, an oblique pen holder and real ink) to create gorgeous hand-lettering with a modern twist. You’ll learn how to create the nuanced thick and thin lines that set pointed pen lettering apart from regular handwriting. Plus, you’ll go home with all the materials you’ll need to continue practicing and showing off your new lettering skills.
- All supplies, including exemplars for three Meant To Be Calligraphy lettering styles, pen holder, nibs, ink and more.
- A sense of accomplishment! (Read about past students’ workshop experiences here, here, here, here, here, here and here.)
