Back To School!

We’re excited to share that new dates have just been posted for our calligraphy workshops. Our fall Introduction to Contemporary Pointed Pen Calligraphy classes will be held in Washington, D.C. (at the industrial chic space that is The Loft at 600 F in the heart of the District) as well as in Middleburg, Virginia (in the center of this picturesque town at the beautiful Middleburg Events Studio) and – new this fall! – in Charlottesville, Virginia (at the gorgeous new digs of custom invitations and paper goods shop Rock Paper Scissors)!

Past students can can also find new dates for our formal follow-up workshop, Continuing with Contemporary Pointed Pen Calligraphy, which takes place at our home/studio, located just outside of the Del Ray area of Alexandria, Virginia. Those who have previously participated in one of our Intro workshops are also invited to take part in our signature, weeknight Calligraphy Study Table sessions. In fact, there are still spots available in the August 28 session, which will be a chance for each participant to try and take home 8 new nibs. Should be fun!

We hope that you will be able to join us for a workshop (or two!). As always, we’ll be keeping the class size super small, so if you are interested in taking part this fall (or in gifting a class to someone else), please don’t wait too long to secure your spot. You can find more details and register here.

PS: We are over the moon to share that our workshops are featured in the brand new “Learn Something New” issue of Washingtonian magazine! Pick up a copy of the September 2014 issue and you’ll find a kind mention of Meant To Be Calligraphy’s classes on page 83. We could not be more thrilled!
